2 Weddings, 1 Day, and I Spread Some Hay

weddingsign

It was a day of beauty that made me feel closer to God.

Four of our closest friends. One country house complete with a red barn outside of Atlanta. One manor with a star lit courtyard and a glass of wine outside of Birmingham. And in the middle 2 couples were immersed in each other.

And people say the world is fallen? I say the world is good. I say it reaks of goodness.

Love and hope and beauty are such better alternatives.

Hey Josh, nice ‘blog! I’m going to be adding it to my alt.Christian directory. Are you in Atlanta?

It is hard to describe Tulsa weather, I heard it described best the other day, “Tulsa is the place where God experiments with weather before he ships it out to the rest of the nation.” Our winters aren’t cold, but it will be warm one day and cold the next so it is hard to get used to one temperature. One day in winter it was 70 in the morning and snowed six inches that afternoon. This spring has been really hot, it has been in the 90s on and off for a coupld of weeks now…I’m really not looking forward to the summer if this keeps up. And we have had a really dry year so we have had numerous fires and constantly pray for rain. I guess that is Tulsa weather right now…or something like that.

Josh, Pam invited us to view the picture and comments on the wedding. They sure were kind of you. It was our extreme pleasure to meet you and Anna. Kristen is blessed to have such good friends. If you are ever in our area(if you can remember where we are) we would love for you to drop by to see us again. Maybe next time we will put you on the tractor to bush-hog. Janis and Jake
