Put in simpler terms, there was this middle school kid that filmed himself spinning a metal pole around in an attempt to look like a light-saber wielding Jedi.  Somehow his &quot;friends&quot; got ahold of the tape, and gave it as a gift to the Internet.  It has been modified numerous times, remixed, to try and make it funny.

The second link is an article about how the new MacBook has a &quot;sudden motion&quot; sensor.  I&#039;m not sure the reason, probably for the sake of the hard drive, but nevertheless, some intrepid geeks made a program so that if you move the laptop quickly, it makes sounds like a lightsaber, turning it into a MacSaber.
