We Got Some Conversation Going.
There is some good conversation going on centered around Leslie’s post on why she left the church. It’s really good and you should go join in. She’s gotten a lot of encouragement. Nate has brought up some good points about why he finds it troubling that we’re leaving. And I took the time to respond. But all in all, I think it’d be worthwhile to follow some of the comments.

It has been very encouraging to read through the differant struggles that folks have had with the mainline church. I have my own struggles as well.
But i did want to share this link to a podcast from a preacher that i really put a lot of hope into my perspective of church leadership and the way it should be. This message was awesome and this is coming from a guy who hates listening to preaching of any kind (unless im the one preaching about the evils of mainstream Christianity!).
