Communal Living: Part Deux.
So Tank & Jessica are here. And we had a little brainstorming session yesterday about different ways we could make this more than just a simple living arrangement.
So in a the vein of eating and living healthier, we have decided to go on a fast food fast for the month of January . . . all 4 of us. Tank and I also have sworn off all soft drinks for 1 month as well.
In order to make this a non-miserable experience, we spent about 2 and a half hours at Whole Foods Market last night buying our “common” meals for the week.
It’s a really big stretch for me to eat anything healthy. Let alone organic. Organic meaning from the ground and me believing that very few good tasting things come from the ground. We even got trash bags made from recyclable materials. Alas . . . we are going to try to eat healthier and play a better role in preserving a sustainable environment.
The good news is that the cooking blog will be revamped and updated much more regularly now.
Here is a shot of our groceries for the week (in our reusable bags). And on a lighter note, me & Eric getting pillaged by 12-year-old XBox Live kids.
