The Wives.
In honor of Barry Falke taking his wife to a Justin Timberlake concert last night, what is the most compromising thing you’ve done for your wife. So far, I think Barry is at the top of the list. But I know there are some good ones out there. Anyone care to share?
My mind is blank right now but I might put the car dealership Christmas party towards the top of my list.

1. Justin’s new music has a jazz tone (deep tracks from CD) to it, and he’s actually quite the beatboxer/entertainer. I happen to know someone who owns the CD and I have listened to it, I’m not gonna out who that is though.
2. I’m surprised you didn’t like the dealership xmas party. Seems like those would be a bunch of good ole boys you could talk about whiskey sours and TV with. Given the popularity, at least someone there would like 24 or LOST. Perhaps thats leaning heavily on stereotypes.
I wouldn’t say its the most compromising thing but when Heather was teaching, the parties the school had were very difficult for me to have any social interaction at with anyone other than Heather. More than many other types of professions, teachers engross themselves in their work and therefore the topic of convo 24/7, even at a party, is about teaching and students and policies and curriculum. Far removed from the areas of my own expertise and whatnot: finance, first-person shooters, rap music, baby Jesus.
Oh, and in an effort to make this alittle more positive, perhaps you could call it the most loving thing you ever did for your wife? Compromise makes it sound like you only went because she was cuttin’ you off if you didn’t comply. Just sayin.

I had to take my wife to “The Nutcracker”. Let me just say that it was brutal.

Oh I have been to the Nutcracker as well. At least you can sleep through the entire first act of that.

You should have Anna post about all the things she has had to “compromise” for you…I bet her list would be VERY intersting. I’m sure Anna appreciates you coming to the car dealership party but I bet she actually wanted you to come to Show you off more than you to have fun! Or at least that’s why I bring hubby along..ha! I’m with Eric on “LOVING things you do for wife” compromising gets under our skin!!
