Sour Jacks.
So Jack has been “under the weather”, i.e. pooping like a fiend. In a non-solid manner. It’s been pretty steady for a week. With 3 nights this week involving us waking up in the middle of the night multiple times to a whimpering dog who ran like a bolt of lighting through the pitch dark house to the backyard.
Nevertheless . . . we may have discovered the reason as to why his stomach has been upset.
“The Brilliant Idea”Â
“The Last Temptation”Â
“The Indulgence”Â
“The Sour Eye”Â
Needless to say I take full responsibility. And regret Jack’s sensitive rear end over the past week. I just figured since he’s such a food whore that we would test what he can take. He’s tried some hot sauce, amongst other things. So I figured he’d could handle a few limes. Obviously he can’t. My bad Jack.

…
just sayin’:
The peels, fruit and seeds of citrus plants such as lemons, oranges, limes and grapefruits contain varying amounts of citric acid, limonin and volatile oils that can cause gastrointestinal irritation such as vomiting or diarrhea if ingested. In some cases, exposures to high concentrations of these substances (such as those found in certain citrus-based cleaners) could possibly result in central nervous system depression as well.
