Kucinnich, Health Care, & The Nature of Government

Who would have thought this little guy would stir up so much conversation. It may be too late at this point, but we’re over 30 comments strong back on this post from the weekend. It may be too late or you may not be interested in joining the fray, but a few of us are still hanging out back there wrestling with what the responsibility of the government is to the “least of these” in addition to the church’s responsibility. Which has led us to an intriguing conversation to the purpose of the government and the purpose of it’s citizens as a whole . . . which in some ways has led us back to a conversation of capitalism and what sectors should be “for profit” and what sectors shouldn’t be.
