Doug Pagitt was on CNN Headline News with John MacArthur talking about Yoga. Good stuff. MacArthur continues to make the worst arguments ever for his perspective. Especially the first minute and 15 seconds.

Us fundamentalists can argue against anything. MacArthur is one of the most annoying preachers alive today. I’m not surprised at his arguments, either. Pagitt simply stated the obvious–you can practice exercise and meditation without worshiping Satan. And, did MacArthur actually say that meditation has no place in Christianity? Bonehead.
John MacArthur is depressing. Seriously. The guy’s a killjoy extraordinaire who’s so deeply embedded in Western Christianese it’d be impossible for him to be comfortable in a bar or have a decent conversation with someone who doesn’t worship him like his church network.
Seriously, he’s like the guy in the conversation who always has to get “regeneration,” “going to heaven,” “sin,” and “Jesus is sufficient” in every conversation.
