Tonight Anna and I took a nice little drive (20 miles round trip) to a Mellow Mushroom to meet some friends. The only thing people don’t tell you is how cold it gets. I was wearing pants and a hoodie and was still chilly. I’m going to have to get some official clothes.

Air temperature is deceptive when you are a rider, and you begin to realize how fast it can change especially towards the end of the day. I always over prepare in terms of warmth. Nothing is more miserable than being cold while riding.
Being farther north it gets pretty cold here and there have been already a couple mornings where the temperature dipped into the high 30s. I suppose it’s just getting me ready for the winter riding….
