Friends List.
After my What Is RSS post last week, I realized that it’s been an awfully long time since I updated the links on my site. My friend list which used to span over a 100 people, just seems burdensome on the front page and takes up way too much room. Plus, I find it extremely difficult to sort through who “makes” the cut and who doesn’t. If I were to put my entire RSS network in there, I’d have over 200 people. So in an effort to streamline that . . . I’ve made the list in the sidebar short and sweet. It’s a list of people who I talk to (phone, IM, email, telegraph) on a regular basis. Or people who are local friends of ours. Or people I’ve known a while. Although some are on the verge of getting cut unless they come out of hibernation.
I’ve also created a master list of people who I read daily. The stipulations for making this list are that I usually just lurk in the backgrounds of the blogs of these people, they don’t post regularly, or I’m just getting to know them. In addition to this list, I read some tech blogs and The Daily Scribe, but I was just too tired last night putting all of these in.
So take a look at the list and if I left you off, let me know. I assure you I’m not rude. There is just some that get lost in translation between my reader and here. I’m sure I follow your thoughts, but I’m bound to miss some when entering that many manually. Or if you are a lurker here on my site . . . expose yourself and let me know who you are so that I can follow your conversations as you follow mine.
That is all.

So humbled I made the friends list!
I have you on my reader too –
I just realized today that my Microsoft Oulook can get RSS feeds – I have that to conquer now – and might find it a great way to keep up with my favorite blogs.

I’m honored to be in the crew. It’s a hard thing to do, but you have to trim sometime.

btw, I should give you some encouragement. I spend a decent amount of time looking at other blogs, and I’ve been impressed at the variety of folks who link to your blog; they range across the spectrum on a variety of beliefs. So kudos to developing a blog that is hospitable to challenge, and gives a wider audience to your voice…which people are appreciating.

As for your snark, I post to fragged, not cash, as the frequency of posts clearly shows.
Not that I blog all that often on fragged, but still sometimes.
just sayin.

wow, I’m actually on the full list. You’re inspiring me to blog more…as soon as I’m not sick, because I really don’t want to post about being sick. Oh well.
