Friday Is For Friends: Dave Lowitzki.

I’m a little late on my bi-monthly Friday Is For Friends. I had to take my morning soak in my parent’s hot tub busying putting the class back into Alabama. So lay off.

But last month I started highlighting some of my favorite people/bloggers that might not be in your blogging circle but should be – in my humble opinion of course. This week I’d light to draw some attention to Dave Lowitzki who runs Mindful Mission.

If you follow any of the posts that are heavy on comments, you may recognize Dave from there as he usually weighs in pretty regularly. Especially on political or economic discussions. Dave is in Chicago and blogs about local and national politics. He is my #1 source for political, social, and economic links. I’m way too lazy to wade through the big political blogs but Dave does the dirty work for me with his constant linking to articles of interest. I almost consider him to be my political blog aggregator. This is not to say that he doesn’t post his own original content. For example, last week he had an excellent post, No Way To The Inn.

Long story short . . . if you haven’t gotten to know Dave . . . I can’t think of a better time to do so than in preparation for the 2008 elections and with what is going on with some of the larger global problems in general.

Check out Dave Lowitzki.

And don’t forget about Troy Bronsink or Julie Clawson.
