LOST Recap.
We waited again to let the DVR catch up to bypass the commercials. So this will just be more of a recap.
I’ll post my recap/theories in a bit. For now, just reflections . . .
Miles is crazy. So Sayid was one of the Oceanic 6. Jack, Kate, Hurley, & Sayid. Who are the other 2? Oh wait, I already know.
Who did that guy work for? Why did Ben want Mr. Avolino(?) killed? Of course this implies that I know Sayid is working for Ben. Muahahhaaha!
Why was the cabin not where Locke remembered it? And why has Locke gone off the deep end?
What was Daniel trying to get shot to the island with the beacon? The payload?
Time on the island is 31 minutes slower?
Ben comes and goes off the island?

Sayid was playing girl. Girl was playing Sayid. This is one epic war between Ben’s group and Dharma!
The girls was working for the same guy Naomi was. Hanso?
Driving home . . . reflections later. OMG!
*** AND NOW FOR THE REFLECTIONS AND THEORIES ***
I’m sticking with my theory that there are two groups . . . Dharma (the group Ben helped purge from the island) and the Others (Alpert, now Ben, and others). These two groups have been fighting back and forth for control of the island for a long time. One is good. The other is bad. One light. And the other dark.
Somehow Ben has been able to get off the island all this time and is perhaps reporting to someone else? Or maybe Jacob is really in charge. All I know is that Ben is a twisted little joker.
So I think Dharma finally gets control of the island (to the detriment of the world maybe?) and Ben flees and goes into hiding on the mainland. He starts working with the only people he knows and can trust (i.e. that he can still manipulate by holding something over their head). In this case Sayid. They are going around and killing the Dharma people that they know of that are on the “list”. Funny to see another list floating around. Only this time playing for keeps.
So I think Dharma gets control of the island. 6 people get off. Everybody else stays for a variety of reasons. Maybe they’re offered a choice to stay and assimilate with the new staff/crew of Dharma.
I think Naomi’s crew that landed from the freighter are nothing more than a hired crew. And they are clueless about the real reason they were chosen to be there. Perhaps they are the children of former Dharma people. Or perhaps they are just scientists that were promised the same sort of stuff that Mittelos promised to Juliet.
My crazy . . . crazy . . . crazy theory . . . the people who control time like Desmond, the clock watch lady, etc . . . they aren’t on either team. But are the real good guys who steer history while the two groups fight it out.

help me with some timing issues. if we saw Ben in a flash forward last night with Sayid, does that mean he was not in the coffin? or did we see Jack at the funeral home farther down the road, and that still is Ben?
i think someone with Desmond’s time travel gifts, told Charlotte to wear a bullet proof vest. she could even have those gifts herself.

sorry for the outburst, i consulted with a “spoiler” in my office and that wasnt one of them. whew.
Uhm, does/did sayid know naomi? he closed her eyes just like he did with his “girlfriend” after he shot her. plus he made a big deal about getting her on the helicopter. AND AND AND both women were wearing the same bracelets.

i think both women were both working for dharma. and the bracelets were a sort of charlie’s angels thing. or, sayid could have taken the bracelet from naomi and given it to his new lady as a gift. which would connect back to what ben said when “remember what happened last time you got involved emotionally”. which makes me think him bringing naomi back to the freighter caused major problems. cause that was the last time that he got involved emotionally. that we know thus far.
see . . . i think the freighters/dharma/widmore take over the island. ben goes into exile and flees to the mainland. dharma takes back control over the island and they let the 6 leave. so they jump at the chance. but they don’t realize that in fact dharma are the bad guys, and as much as it makes me want to puke, than ben and the others are the good guys.
locke’s group either stays and works out an agreement to stay on the island peacefully or more likely, they become the “hostiles” like the other dharma group used to battle with.
so once off the island, the 6 realize that dharma lied. they’re friends are back on the island in a run for their lives. so that’s why they want to get back. and i think eventually they find out that ben is off the island as well and we’ll have to “team up” with him.
can’t really prove much. but i think lost will eventually have a simple explanation. this seems pretty easy.

it is really starting to unfold nicely but i keep reverting to the black smoke and some other unexplainable things.
Another thing i keep thinking about is how 3 of the oceanic six have returned to exactly the same state they were in prior to crashing on the island (sort of like those Final Destiny movies in which the characters avoid death but cant escape dying eventually) Jack was a drunk looking for his father and turns into a drunk again. Hurley was large and in charge in mental ward prior and ends up there b/c he saw charlie and Sayid was a torturer/murderer before and after. Its almost like no matter what they do they cant escape their own fates. This reverts me back to the desmond flashback and how the crazy lady in the ring shop told desmond he ALWAYS turns around and walks out without buying the ring.
How many freaking times have they been on this merry-go-round not changing any of their destiny’s?
Blah blah blah i make no sense to myself.
