Church Basement Road Show.

As alluded to on The Nick & Josh Podcast, there is going to be a Church Basement Road Show coming to a neighborhood near you. Not only have we preempted Oprah, but now we even got to preempt a trio of heretics. These guys are going to be driving around in an RV frat-boy style promoting their new books. There are a couple of cities that aren’t spoken for yet . . . so you might want to score some cool points and be the middle man that makes it happen. Cities like Los Angeles, Vancouver, Tulsa, Chicago, New Orleans, Boston, NYC . . . are still empty. So make it happen. It’ll be Tony Jones, Doug Pagitt, & Mark Scandrette. Well worth checking out.

You’re going to want to get in on this deal. You can take it on my Boy Scout honor (well actually just Webelos honor) that this is going to be a raucous, rip-roaring time. There’s a really good joke in here somewhere. Something along the lines of “What do you get when you take 3 heretics and put them in a cross-country RV trip?”

You know where they’re stopping when they’re in Atlanta?

I am assuming they’ll be cruising through the Seattle area.

Dude, you were a Webelo!! that’s awesome. i was a boy scout and reached the rank of star before i was uprooted from my pack and moved to Maryland.

did you know that WEBELOS stands for We Be Loyal Scouts?

Umm, did you make the site because the email link isn’t working (at least in Safari).

Oh and are you supposed to send me any tax info for my work with Red Cowboy?

definitely was a webelos. did not know that corey. i tried to make it as boy scouts but got tired of playing steal the bacon and playing capture the flag. plus i liked girls and boys in uniform aren’t as cool as men in uniforms so i bowed out.

but i did run about 6 pinewood derby and pinewood sailboat races. not to mention sell the hell out of some popcorn tins.

ah, boy scouts. that brings back some memories. i made it all the way to eagle. not to gloat or anything. :) and i sold more than my fair share of popcorn. i was also cheated out of first place at the pinewood derby, but that’s a different story.

this looks really promising. i’ll likely be moved to either boston or nyc by the time it gets going, but it looks like they’re planning on stopping by both cities. looking forward to it…

Speakin’ of pine wood derbys, do you know how much i hated those stupid races? it was all about weight distribution and you could definitely tell the kids who showed up with cars that there NASCAR watching dad had pretty much built for them.

Oh, and i also remember camp outs where we would go snipe hunting.
