This is a fitting Easter story for me. I hate to be cheesy and try to make connections. But I’ve been thinking through, half regretting, that we weren’t more invested in Easter this year. Then I read this story by Corey and I realize that perhaps we don’t have to gather one day out of the year with a new warddrobe to call it special. Perhaps there is more power in the small daily acts of resurrection that we practice. Corey Hau reminded me of that this morning. You should read it.
Practicing resurrection. Small. Messy. And Filling.
Thanks for sharing this.
I’d much rather be inspired by stories like this of people being kind to others than be in church at Easter.
(I suppose it’s possible to do both, though, if you like church :))
