Job Description #6 - Magazine Owner

So many of you know that I’ve been “diversifying” my job description just a tad. This is my 6th job . . . Magazine Owner, Editor, Designer, & Photographer for Talk of the Bay. You can check out the new site here and download a color pdf of the first issue. We’ve got a lot of work to do in building the structure and building the content, but I’m pretty happy with the first issue. Eventually the magazine will be 60-70 pages. But the first edition was only 20. Eventually Anna will take over the photography role. But if you guys remember those 4 days when I basically disappeared off the face of the earth, it was because my parents had me chained to my mouse and keyboard grinding out the entire design, article content, and photography for everything you see.

  1. Love the layout and design… I guess that shouldn’t be too surprising!

  2. Nice work dude. It’s crisp and well laid out. Nothing’s bunhced, you’ve (thankfully) stayed away from the grungy look and Anna’s snaps are super-rich. all the best for issue #2!
