Blogging . . . What’s That?

It seems just like yesterday I was cranking out 2 or 3 posts a day. At times creating substantial content and at others driveling on about random things.
For those who don’t know what I’ve been busy with . . . it goes a little something like this.
- My “full time” job running my own business via Red Cowboy.
- My organic farming “hobby”.
- My Apple Mac Specialist “hobby”.
- Raising money for my friend Amit in India and building the infrastructure for a future non-profit.
- And running/designing a magazine with my parents.
Oh yeah . . . did I mention a baby is on the way?
Fun times around the Brown house for sure.
Anyway, I just wanted to let everyone know I was alive. I’m doing well. Despite the busy schedule, I have a really good work flow going on and feel quite relaxed and non-stressed. Even when I apparently should be.
But needless to say I’ve got little to no time for blogging. Or reading. Or any other type of “creative acts”.
Just thought I’d take the time to say that.
Miss you guys. Miss you like crazy.
Back at ya big guy!
You’ll blog when you can - and we’ll read!
know you’ve been pretty busy…lots of irons in the fire, I’m sure.
good talking to you the other day, things are looking great!
i like how you posted an image of your calendar as visible proof of your busyness.
nice.
**sniff** we miss you too Josh.
Come back to us!
soon. soon and very soon.
how baptist does it make me that i immediately starting singing … “we are going to see the LORD, soon and very soon” … sorry you married such a dork.
Nah, you are blogging at a good pace. You can’t let it control your life, and you can’t go daily or the content sucks. Good on ya.
Man, I hear ya. With travel for work 6 months out of a year, a house, grad school, trying to find time for my wife and kids is hard enough, let alone a blog or trying to spend time with friends. It was the demise of our house church. We hoped and asked that the house church would move around to different houses, but to no avail.
However, I will say that it was a good thing. It showed who are happy to follow and who want something more. It also showed us that intentional community is much harder to start than we thought, but what we wanted, not just a smaller form of mainstream church.
Enjoy your time in other ventures, blogging is fun, but it is not life.
yep, anna I hummed the same tune, but I’m not baptist. perhaps we’re just “hymn nostalgists.” or something….
Been awhile since I posted a comment. When I saw your screen shot of your calendar I was reminded of how busy I have gotten also, and the lack of blogging going on at http://www.inreformation.com. Understandable brother, happens to the best of us. Kingdom building can get in the way of regularly scheduled blogging. Congrats on the baby on the way. Still checking in on your blog. Keep up the great posts and everything else you are doing. Cheers!
Oh, and Josh, I really liked how your time spent on Red Cowboy Designs was in red. Nice.
