14 Days In A Row

I pulled 14 days in a row. I know . . . I know . . . I probably have sold out. Although I still stand by my premise that I haven’t. I did it because 1) I could, 2) even on the worse days, I still enjoyed being there, 3) I still spent time with Anna when I wasn’t, 4) I chose to do so by working overtime when offered, and 5) iPhone Launch and Tax Free Weekened mean more money for us to put aside for baby bills since we carry our own insurance.

But today is my first day off in 14 days. And I’m listening to The Decemberists and sending out some extremely late artwork and designs to some extremely patient partners/clients/friends of mine. Here’s to today.

dude. 14 days. that’s a lot more than when you used to pull all-day-ers. 14x more, in fact.

I wonder about reason #4. Did many of your coworkers choose to not work a lot of overtime? My guess would be that the avg. apple employee also manned up and worked OT, and when everyone does it, it becomes the standard to which all employees are held. But I don’t work there so I accept the large possibility (58 percent, to be exact), that you’ll dismiss this as trolling and tell me to sit on it.
