Well I’m Back.

At least long enough that I deemed it worthy to do a slight redesign on the site. While I may have forsaken Facebook and Twitter and entered into a wide open world of paradise past the shiny gates of a glorious new trend, there may still be some life left in my blogging.

I think the reason I got so bored with blogging was that it seemed like the majority of my blogging audience resonated with what I said, i.e. were on the same page as me. Blogging became less of a theological and imaginative stretching process and more of a validation of what I felt was true. Bottom line, I was preaching to the choir.

So in order to reestablish the blogging order back to what it used to be for me, I hope to turn it back into a stretching forum. Where I can tease out my thoughts and push those who might read away from the comfortable. That sounds awfully pretentious but then again I’ve never shied away from lofty expectations.

Cheers. And I’m glad to be back.

There’s definitely a tendency to parochialism, which is never good. I’ll admit that most of the blogs I’m subscribed to are ones that, were I to comment, anything I might say would basically amount to glorified agreement.

Anyway, I’m glad you’re back. Look forward to reading your thoughts.

Well that’s good. I kind of missed you… in a purely platonic way.

I disagree with everything that Blake says.

And everything that Josh says.

Except for the things I agree with.

And I am glad you are blogging again.

I love everything you say. You are my blogging-hero.

I’ll be in ANY choir as long as you’re preaching to me.

So excited you can speak to my heart again…..

I agree with what jake said, and will try not to agree with what josh says. Will that be sufficient to keep you ’round this time?

I expect you didn’t write this post to get feedback for the new design, but I really like it. (Oh, and your ABOUT and CONTACT links in the sidebar don’t work as I type this.)

I don’t know how many atheists you have reading your blog, but I’ll try to speak up and share my thoughts and reactions (as worthless as they may be) in the spirit of conversation and uncomfortableness. Welcome back!

Dude, I won’t even have to try to disagree with you, you crazy, liberal, emerging heretic–it will just be natural. Just bring on your lunacy and I’ll argue with you to the death.

Josh,

Keep in mind you’re often stuck inside your own mind and don’t see how your thoughts send waves out through the network of relationships you’re in and beyond.

Sometimes it’s easy to feel like you’re treading water when you’re really shaping the world every time you choose to be intentional.

You’ve affected my life. Stay intentional.

[...] with a big hat tip here, then Josh opened up a bit more here, before finally admitting he was back here. Yeah, crazy week. Glad he’s back [...]
